Why PATIENCE is one key to become a successful trader ?

I want it, and I want it now!

We've been told from an early age that patience is a virtue. But in today's modern age we are all seeking for instant gratification. Our culture expects results right away.

Although the best traders understand the importance of patience, it is one of the most difficult skills to acquire.

Patience is not about doing nothing. It’s about doing the right thing at the right time. And that is exactly what traders need to succeed.

Becoming an consistent trader does not happen overnight. It takes years of practice. When you enter the stock market you need to realize that you're up against some of the best people in the world operating in very complex markets.

These are three simple steps to I follow :

Wait for “A” quality setups only. Trading opportunities will present themselves on a daily basis. It is my job as trader to take only the best out of those and leave out the rest. Do not over trade or revenge trade.

Wait for opportunities to come. Just like a sniper, a good trader should wait for the trade to come, let it come to you because there is no benefit on forcing any kind of trades.

Follow your trading plan. Plan the trade and trade the plan.

Patience is like any other hard-earned discipline: The more we practice it, the more patient we become. To be successful, we need patience when it comes to the achievement of the strategic goals we've set.
