LIMITLESS!
"There are no “limits” to what you can achieve"....do you hear these words whispering in your ears? Now listen to your inner voice, and act accordingly.
When I start talking to friends, usually these are the first questions they ask me: "Why can't you be like everyone else, get married, start a family and raise kids", "why did you chose to live that kind of life", "you should settle down"....But I know for a fact, if I constantly live my life for the sake of others, to be like the rest of my friends, to get into the mold.... I will never be happy in this life. Period.
If “you” don’t define who you are and what you stand for in this life you will never live your life.
How can we be limitless?
We are only limited by the laws of physics, and to some extent we are limited by money. But we can create, build, explore and do anything we want online, without being restricted by money!
We are living in a phenomenal time. Almost anyone has access to new technologies, to high speed internet and to a smartphone. I just came back from a long trip to South East Asia, and I'm always amazed how "developing" countries like Vietnam, Cambodia has high speed internet everywhere. People now have infinite opportunities with new technologies. People like myself are feeding on high speed internet to make a living.
With the internet and cheaper digital technologies we have so much more opportunities in today’s day and age. Now, the deciding factor on whether you become a “successful” entrepreneur, businessman , artist , writer no longer depends on how rich you are, and whether you can afford your craziest dreams.
As a photographer, growing up with old technology and film cameras, I can say that Instagram and digital technologies revolutionized the whole industry. Nowadays the only limit of making a good photograph is only limited to your imagination and you skills. And if you have marketing knowledge and a good community of followers, you can make a decent living monetizing your images on social medias platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Youtube...etc. And the only equipment you really need is your smartphone, and you have access to phenomenal phone cameras.
As a trader, I only need my laptop and a good internet connection. All the tools and the charts I am using to trade are found online, and I communicate with my trading coach on *Slack and messenger. We are only limited by the time zones.
I have chosen to live a minimalist nomadic lifestyle, because digital technologies gave me that freedom to live wherever I want. By living a nomadic lifestyle, always on the road, I no longer need to own a car (although I still have my Volvo parked at my mom's, but I will sell it soon) , I don’t own a home (I decided to rent my condo and earn extra money from real estate) , and I don’t need to own more stuff than I what I have in my carry on.
We often forget that we all have the ultimate choice in life, we can live the way we desire, to become whatever we truly want, and to give our attention to whatever we focus on. Our life should be unbounded, unlimited, with infinite opportunities. So quit telling yourself that you “can’t” do this or that, and instead tell yourself “Who’s Going To Stop Me”? After all is MY life!
Don't waste time putting self-imposed limitations on yourself! Nobody is going to make your dreams become a reality, because it’s YOUR dream. This is your life, so grab it by the horns and own it.
Stand for something or die for nothing only depends on YOU, don’t ever forget that which ever way you decide to go is YOUR decision. You are responsible for who you are and for what you stand for.
